Summary: Great for a good price & regular use
Comment: The product is a great value for money. Placing the batteries is a bit tedious though the batteries do last long enough. I never have had any problems with either of them. Plenty of diff. rhythms/sequences for both the lights. The flexibility to use the Xenon Bulb or the LED's comes in quite handy.

I wish it would have included the batteries though. The headlamp needs 4 AA batteries while the tail lamp takes 2 AAA batteries.

I would definitely recommend it since it's adequate for regular use.

Summary: Not for kids that drop their bikes down
Comment: I purchased 3 of these for my 5 year old triplets.
2 are still intact. The other busted when the bike got dropped down to the ground. It's got a rubber insert that's supposed to help make it "hug" the bar when you tighten it on, but sometimes it wants to squeeze right out of there and then the light starts flipping around loose. I don't think you can get it tight enough with out this little thing. luckily we found the one tha popped out.
Other than that, it's a bright lite with lots of fancy light rythms.

Summary: Adequate Inexpensive light
Comment: This product produces adequate light for night riding on a fairly wide trail. On narrow off-road trails I do not think the beam is strong enough.

I have not used it on regular street situations because I do all my riding off the road. I have seen the other reviews about the difficulty of placing the batteries due to the awkward method of opening the case. I was mindful of that information when I first used my light, and really had no problem. The problem with the tail light coming apart on bumpy situations was also noted in previous reviews, and I put a small sliver of duct tape around the rear light case, and after several rides its still there.

Having to scroll through all of the lighting modes to shut the light down is annoying, but not critcal.

All in all this is a very adequate light for the price, and for folks who don't do a whole lot of night or dusk off road riding it is a great value.

Summary: Works well -Great value for the money
Comment: Item arrived quickly. This was a gift purchase- have two other sets. Headlamp has four settings a bright and a dimmer incandescent setting, as well as two settings for the two leds, one constantly on and one blinking. The bright incandescent setting provides good lighting for night rides, but is not to be mistaken for one of the expensive headlamps which light up the raidway. Batts are 4 AA and they last approx an hour on the brightest setting with rechargables and then defaults to the LED continuously on setting. This setting stays on for over 24 hours. Provides enough light to see your way home, as well as being seen.
Tail lamp uses AAA batts and has multiple settings for constant on as well as different blink modes. Only flaw is that the tail lamp assembly can work loose in the housing, particularly if you have a seat pack. That said a piece of tape keeps it from coming out. Battery life is great, still on the original set after many night rides. Light is bright and shows up well.
Can't beat this set for the price. Alkaline batts seem to last longer, I carry a spare set.
