Summary: Save your $ Comment: Save your money. Unless you're in this movie or just want to see the Wisconsin countryside, don't waste the money. Not only is it a bad movie, it's sexist! Stupid all around. Customer Rating: Summary: Amazed Comment: I was shocked to find this movie on here, still avaliable to buy. I was in this movie five years ago when I was 9 years old. I was an extra in the film, during the baseball game when they showed the crowds. Everyone in my family can be seen at one point or another, so this movie means a lot to me. I don't remember much about the movie, since I was young when I saw it, but I definately recommend it to anyone of any age. Customer Rating: Summary: Entertaining, feel-good family film Comment: After getting cut from the big leagues, Tommy Madden (played by wonderful newcomer Jay Schillinger) returns home to his estranged town, his father, one-time girlfriend and old high school buddies. But this time, he's convinced to stay... maybe forever. Beautifully shot with a wonderful soundtrack as well -- all in all -- a GREAT FILM! Customer Rating: Summary: Down home, hokey fun Comment: This was a nice family film, especially if you are from Wisconsin where it was filmed. Good performances all around, especially Martha Byrne, Steve Kanaly, Martin Kove. A little like "the Nautral" other baseball movies, but with softball so it is an interesting twist. I'd recommend it.
