Indeed, there were many who thought that it would take an event as cataclysmic as the one described in the album title to get these seminal '70s soft-rockers back together. But here they are, revisiting some of their most beloved tunes as well as four new ones, on this mostly live, largely acoustic disc. Frey, Henley, Walsh, Schmit, and Felder tackle iconic Eagles standards like "Hotel California," "Tequila Sunrise," "Take It Easy," "Desperado," and "Life in the Fast Lane" and new tunes like "Get Over It" and "Love Will Keep Us Alive" with the smoothly cocky assurance that originally made them icons. --Scott Schinder

 Summary: Hell Freezes Over Comment: This CD was received as agreed and in good shape. The CD is good and plays well. Customer Rating: Summary: Eagles - Hell Freezes Over DTS CD Comment: This CD has a lot of their classics in a live version. It's very good including Take It Easy and Desperado, which I particularly liked live. I wish there were more DTS audio discs out there. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Performances Comment: Many people at the time did not think the band would play together again and the title says it all (of course they have done things after) Great live renditions of Eagles Classics and even if you have the studio versions these are well worth having in your collection. All you need to do is listen to the amazing version of Hotel California then you will get a sense of the level of this album. I bought both CD and DVD for obvious reasons. Customer Rating: Summary: Hell freezes over Comment: Anyone an Eagle fan will really enjoy this cd,It will have you singing along with every song,The remake of Hotel California is outstanding and you will be playing it over and over. For a live concert cd, well done not hearing the crowd breaking up the music.
